This Mixed media piece is made with newsprint, charcoal, acrylic paint, markers, cellophane sheets, and layered on top of a 2.5d base of plaster and plaster bandages affixed on window screen. This piece was inspired by my struggle with scoliosis and flat feet and the disjointed, imbalanced feeling that these conditions cause. This piece is not just a reflection of my chronic pain and exhaustion but also the confusion and frustration that stems from these physical deformities.
